BRAHMASTRA CORPS SUCCESSFULLY FIRES ULTRA LIGHT HOWITZERS .

Panagarh, 13 September 2021. Brahmastra Corps successfully test fired the newly inducted M777 Ultra-Light Howitzers (ULHs) at Teesta Field Firing Range from 01-13 September 2021.  These artillery guns were earlier assembled, integrated and tested at the Mahindra Defence facility. 

The M777 Howitzer is a 155mm 39 calibre towed gun, highly portable and can be carried easily over land, sea and air. One special feature of M777 is that it can be readily airlifted on a Boeing Chinook heavy-lift helicopter recently inducted into the Indian Air Force.
