Indian Army launched Sikkim Cycling Expedition.

Indian Army in Sikkim launched a cycling  expedition from Chungthang in Sikkim on 06 Sep 2021. The team comprising 12 personnel from Trishakti Corps will cycle across rugged mountains and high altitude areas of North Sikkim, covering remote villages, showcasing the valour and Indian Armed Forces’ glorious achievements towards nation building.

 

    Lieutenant General AK Singh, YSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Trishakti Corps flagged off the Sikkim Cycling Expedition. The expedition will pass through remote villages and interact with local youth all along the route.  The Expedition aims to explore flar flung areas of North Sikkim, motivate local youth to join the our Armed Forces and instill a spirit of adventure, inculcate camraderie and team spirit amongst all ranks.
