The first time there is a film festival being hosted by the Army in which popular War movies are being screened for Kolkata.

This is the proud movement for Eastern Command to celebrate the Swarnim Vijay Varsh this year as remembrance of the glorious victory of 1971 operations and pay homage to the sacrifices made by people of Bangladesh and the Armed forces.  In the series of events  Bijoya Sanskritik Mahotsav is being conducted , during this Mahotsav, for the first time there is a film festival being hosted by the  Army in which popular War movies are being screened.  The inaugural event will see a new collaboration between the Army band and a civil band. A new Theatre  play has been conceptualised and created just for this event which is being performed by RSR Group. On the subsequent day a Rock band will also perform at the event.

 Eastern Command is excited with this project and eager to witness this event with the people of kolkata.
