EASTERN ARMY COMMANDER VISITS GAJRAJ CORPS.

Tezpur, 28 Feb 2022.  Lt Gen RP Kalita, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Command is on a two day visit to Gajraj Corps from 27 Feb 22 onwards. On arrival at Tezpur on 27 Feb 2022, the Army Commander was briefed on the operational situation and preparedness by Lt Gen Ravin Khosla, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Gajraj Corps.  

Lt Gen RP Kalita, Army Commander Eastern Command accompanied by GOC Gajraj Corps also visited Divisional Headquarters to review the security situation along Kameng Sector of Arunachal Pradesh. He complimented the operational preparedness, efforts and commitment of troops and appreciated the manner in which they were braving the harsh weather conditions & inhospitable terrain.  Lt Gen RP Kalita assumed command of the Eastern Army on 01 Feb 2022. This was the first visit to Gajraj Corps by the Army Commander on assuming command.
