GOC TRISHAKTI CORPS FLAGS OFF “TEAM WANDERERS” ON RIDE ACROSS SIKKIM AND NORTH EASTERN REGION.

Lieutenant General Tarun Kumar Aich, AVSM General Officer Commanding, Trishakti Corps on 19 May 2022, flags off “Team Wanderers”, a group of bikers on a mission to ride across North East India. *Under the aegis of Ministry of DoNER, the bikers will ride across North East India and meet the Armed Forces personnel deployed in forward areas and express gratitude for their services rendered to defend the nation*.

As the nation is celebrating 75 years of independence and setting milestones for the next 25 years of Amrit Kaal, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav has truly become a national festival, with every Indian expressing the fervour in their own way and this NER Flag Ride is another way of celebrating India @75.

The team had earlier visited Kargil on Vijay Diwas and now will ride to Natu La, Guru Dongmar Lake of Sikkim, Tezpur in Assam, Kaho village in Arunachal Pradesh, culminating the event at Guwahati after covering a distance of 485 Kms of North East India.
