NCC DIRECTORATE, WEST BENGAL & SIKKIM GOVERNOR’S MEDAL CEREMONY – 2022

Governor’s medal ceremony was conducted at NCC Club House, Kolkata on 08 July 2022 with grand and pompeur. A total of 56 NCC cadets of West Bengal and Sikkim state were felicitated during the ceremony. Maj Gen US Sengupta,

Additional Director General, NCC Directorate (WB & Sikkim) presided over the ceremony and gave away Governor’s medals to all cadets on behalf of Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by Cadets, Officers and Permanent Instructor Staff. During his address Maj Gen US Sengupta exhorted the NCC cadets to strive for excellence and tirelessly contribute towards social causes. He informed the audience that the noble values and high ideals imbibed by NCC cadets during 

their training instills a deep sense of purpose and ownership, as they prepare themselves to shoulder the onerous responsibilities of nation building. 

Maj Gen US Sengupta also thanked the Hon’ble Governor for bestowing his blessing upon the cadets by presenting them with Governor’s Medal, which will work as an immense motivation for all the cadets to strive for excellence.He also thanked the Department of Higher Education for their support.
