Air Marshal SP Dharkar, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command visited Air Force Stations Kalaikunda and Salua from 09 Jul to 11 Jul 23. The AOC-in-C witnessed the finals of the Command Annual Marksman Championship at Air Force Station Kalaikunda on 10 Jul 23.
A total of 25 Air Warriors participated in the competition from various units of Eastern Air Command. He awarded the prizes to the winners. On his visit to Air Force Station Salua, the Air Marshal inaugurated the new Station Medicare Centre. In addition to the existing medical equipment, the Station Medicare Centre is now endowed with high end Haematology Analyser, Advanced Dental Chair and X-ray machine.
During the visit to the two AF Stations, the AOC-in-C interacted with air warriors and exhorted them to remain operationally focused, physically fit and mentally agile in the highest traditions of the IAF.
