OPERATION SAVIOUR LAUNCHED BY ASSAM RIFLES IN FLOOD AFFECTED VILLAGES OF NAMSAI & CHANGLANG DISTRICTS

With unprecedented rainfall lashing Namsai and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam Rifles launched Operation Saviour to rescue stranded civilians anf provide relief to the flood devastated villages. Close to 500 civillians have been rescued by the troops of Assam Rifles by  working ceaselessly & reaching out to the far flung villages in the Areas of Vijoypur, Dharampur, Mudoi, Shrishtipur, Hanthi Mara Beel & Chowkham.

 Assam Rifles established temporary camps/ shelters & coordinated closely with the civil administration to provide emergency rations, food &  medicines. Assam Rifles is committing more personnel & resources to speed up its rescue efforts.
