The Mishmi tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, who believe that Lord Krishna's wife Rukmini belonged to their tribe.

The Era River of North East India  originates in Arunachal Pradesh at an altitude of 4000m. Green Biodiversity of Italin Circle in Dibang Valley District flows through the Mishmi Hills and eventually merges into the Indian state of Marah.  
Italin village is a rest stop used by mountain climbers on their way through the Dibang valley to Anini district .

The Mishmi people are an ancient tribe living in the Emra river basin . This tribe  has been nurturing a unique cultural tradition with the belief that Lord Krishna's main consort Rukmini was from their tribe. This interaction of mythology with history is the cornerstone of the distinctive identity of the Mishmi people. They continue to preserve their heritage and connection with the land. 

Emra river valley is famous for maximum production of mahseer fish in Dibang district. Mahseer fish (Tor putitora) are transferred from Dibang to Emra for spawning and breeding. This fish of Arunachal Pradesh state is famous worldwide. This fish is sold at a high price in the world market.
