Swachata Hi Sewa Seminar Conducted at New Alipore College on 1st October 2024.
1 Bengal Battalion NCC under the agis of NCC DTE WEST BENGAL &SIKKIM, in collaboration with New Alipore College, successfully conducted a Swachata Hi Sewa seminar today, dedicated to raising awareness about cleanliness and hygiene as part of the nationwide Swachh Bharat Mission. The seminar saw enthusiastic participation from over 300 students, reinforcing the importance of community-driven efforts in promoting cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
The event was chaired by Mr. Debasish Kumar, MLA of Rashbehari Constituency, who delivered an inspiring address on the pivotal role of community engagement in fostering a cleaner and healthier society.
Organized under the aegis of NCC Directorate West Bengal & Sikkim, the seminar emphasized the NCC’s core values of cleanliness, discipline, and civic responsibility. Students participated in interactive discussions and committed themselves to upholding the spirit of Swachhata in their daily lives through a formal pledge.
