A Trailblazing Author, Thought Leader, Change Manager, Entrepreneur, Influencer, Blogger, Researcher, Academician, Mentor, Speaker, Advisor, Dietician, Trainer, Doctor and a Coach... the synonyms are endless for this vibrant Army kid and Army Wife Dr (Mrs) Ritu Sharma, who has been a Lifelong Campaigner & Social Activist in diverse social fields, for three decades plus, actively contributing towards Nation Building.

Married to the Olive Greens for more than 29 years, Rity has been successfully navigating her eventful army married life, marked by challenges, triumphs and lessons learned, which in many ways, have contributed in shaping her into a fearless and authentic individual, through varied experiences. An inspirational motivational speaker, Ritu, through her vitalizing talks, has been inspiring change, shaping futures, and enlightening young minds, focusing on mental wellness & personal growth, showcasing a relentless spirit, dedication & devotion towards Indian Army, while constantly empowering and inspiring others. She has been a woman of substance with outstanding performance, unbound talent & mental energies. The campaign for social upliftment through women empowerment has been a testament to her strength & resilience all through her interesting journey.

Ritu's campaign gained momentum, during COVID times, and there has been no looking back ever since then. She has, so far conducted more than 100 sessions, both 'On & Off line', benefitting the Masses. The recent initiatives include Counselling sessions for students in Upper Assam, Empowerment of soldiers & families through 'Welfare Related Information Dissemination Sessions' at Jorhat & other locations. The campaign did not restrict itself to peaceful hinterland, and Rity also moved as 'One Woman Army' to forward locations of Upper Assam, delivering the informative & empowering talks to soldiers & families. Her aim here was to 'Empower through Information' pertaining to 'In service, Post retirement, and Post martyrdom entitlements/ benefits. The passionate Thought leader & speaker, through well packed talks, updated 'Army Women' on existing pay & allowances, leave entitlements, pensionary benefits, canteen facilities, ECHS facilities, Housing Schemes, Welfare grants & schemes of AWES, including recent updates/ changes; establishing deep connect & trust with one & all present.In army-oriented talks, the focal point has been the invaluable 'After Me Folder', to help all ranks organize their Personal, Service and Finances documentation, to also cater for unforeseen eventualities, and enabling Nok for quick & smooth adaptation. Rity has also been familiarizing army wives with aspects like Ordinary & Family Pensions, Demise Grant, Correct authorization, disbursement of Educational Scholarships/ Grants, Documentary anomalies resulting in delay/ denial of authorized entitlements. The long, Question & Answer sessions post talks mark the importance of her talks for audience, especially army wives, coming up with endless queries, reflecting inquisitiveness & interest. These also foster a sense of belongingness amongst army wives, getting to know about strong welfare & emotional support system of the Indian Army. Towards resolution of Pensionary, Pay & Allowances, Grants & other entitlements, Dr Rity has been able to help hundreds of army families, who could receive arrears in excess of Rs 32 Crores.

For her invaluable contributions and service to nation, Dr (Mrs) Ritu Sharma has been chosen as the Iconic Motivational Speaker of the Year Award for 2025 by 'The Great Indian Summit & Awards' organization; Recognized as the 'Inspiring Women Visionary & Entrepreneur' for 2025 by Gujarat Based Social Development Organization 'She Splash' and chosen as a 'Role Model' for the forthcoming 'Miss & Mrs. Uttar Pradesh' Beauty Pageant at New Delhi on 08 Jun 25.

The campaign of this Social Activist & Warrior continues unabated, tirelessly, further deepening the commitment for cause of society, thus contributing selflessly towards active Nation Building through her Information and Change Management initiatives.
