The Commissioning Ceremony of Nursing Cadets of Batch XI, College of Nursing, Command Hospital.

The Commissioning Ceremony of Nursing Cadets of Batch XI, College of Nursing, Command Hospital (EC), was held on 23 Apr 2025. Maj Gen Datta Kiran, MG Med, Headquarters Eastern Command, was the Reviewing Officer of the ceremony. The event was graced by Maj Gen Ajay Deep Sud, Commandant, Command Hospital (Eastern Command), Brigadier Mini Mathai, Brig MNS, Eastern Command, other senior officers, and proud parents.

 Brig MNS, Eastern Command, administered the oath to the newly commissioned Nursing Officers.  The ceremony radiated an aura of valour and victory as the newly commissioned Nursing Officers smartly and proudly marched past the audience, upholding the age-old tradition of care with compassion. 

Among the newly commissioned Nursing Officers, Lt Simran Sharma was awarded the Rolling Trophy and Gold Medal for securing First Position. Lt Renuka Kumari Thagunna bagged the Silver Medal for securing Second Position in the final year BSc Nursing WBUHS examination. Lt Sandhya Uniyal was adjudged "The Best All-Round Nursing Cadet" for her excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. Lt Krishnendu Poojari was conferred the title of "The Best Clinical Nurse".
